The El Cangrejo Crab, Seafood and Steak Bistro Experience

I was undecided as to where to go for dinner last night then a PM came from one of the restaurants that I've been wanting to try, I took it as a sign and besides I was craving for some crabs yesterday ^_^

By the way I just had to share, The El Cangrejo Crab, Seafood and Steak Bistro FB Admin or whoever manages their FB page is really nice and is prompt in answering inquiries, . Kudos and Thanks! ^_^

Love the quaint rustic vibe of the place. The servers we're very friendly, engaging and helpful from the minute you come in till you leave. Awesome service you guys! :) All our needs were attended and they were pro active with changing plates, filling up your glasses and checking if you need refills. Loved it! :)

There were mouthwatering selections on the menu but last night, I came for their Unlimited Crabs and Steaks. Yes, UNLIMITED....CRABS...CRABS... CRABS and STEAKS. I was ecstatic.

The Meal started with Pumpkin soup, It looked fancy and it was creamy but it had a hint of curry but It was OK.

I'm not a meat person so I didn't really care about the steak until I tried their steak. It was awesome! Cooked to my liking - Medium Well. I don't care about what people say about how steaks should be done but I like mine Medium Well so go stuff your face with your Medium Rare...I'll stuff mine with Medium Well. :P We thought of skipping the white rice but we already ordered but as soon as I got a taste of the lovely steak there's no way this white rice is leaving my table! It was absolutely delish .. and oh I just can't help myself from getting an extra serving of the demi glace.. I just had to :) I only got 2 plates of the steak because I was so concentrated with my crabs <3.  A plate would have 4 or 5 thin slices of steak.

Our Server asked us if we were ready to order crabs and I was like.. "Are you kidding me?! I'm ready for the migration of crabs!" ^___^ What I love about the crabs is that it tasted fresh, sweet and succulent. It had a hint of curry but not that strong at all so it still was OK, it complimented the crabs well. The Vinegar dip was so good too, just had to ask the server for red chilies! Perfect! The Unli Crabs and Steak is priced at php795 net, not including the dessert. Super worth it and is one of the best deals there is. :) 

Last but not the least, thanks for Google Maps! I was able to locate  El Cangrejo Crab, Seafood and Steak Bistro. I just love Google Maps than my Iphone Maps. It works way better.

I cant wait to get back for their Unlimited Oysters and Wine. ^___^

The CHEMISTEA Experience


         Chemistea is one of the newest milk tea place in Shorthorn Project 8 Quezon City, I'm so happy that it's just a tricycle ride away from my place or a jeepney ride away. They are still on their soft opening when I visited the place but it looks like they already have a lot of loyal patrons. They had a sign on their counter that says they are short-staffed at the moment and I appreciate the heads up. I asked for their bestseller unfortunately at that time they ran out of cheesecake syrup for their Cheesecake Milk tea.... Whaaaaat??? Cheesecake Syrup??? I will definitely comeback and try that. I looked at the menu board and saw a DIY Milk tea - Like what a real chemist would do.. pour and stir the liquid stuff in a flask.. man I feel like a mad scientist right now.. no not really but it sure does look fun :) .


There were 2 people in the counter and both were really nice, the barista was really helpful too, (Im not sure whether I should call her a barista or a chemist hihi ^_^) I asked how the Experiment goes and she explained it really well and with so much enthusiasm, maybe because it was her birthday that day :) Will check on the enthusiasm when I go back once they are fully open. One thing's for sure I know, most Milktea based drinks are made from Oolong and I was just a bit iffy to mix it with other base because it might turn out bad, the birthday girl-barista -chemist assured me that she wouldn't bring out the drinks if it didn't taste good, that was a good assurance and I felt at ease. The Paul Boulangerie Experience


Finally got to try the newly opened Paul Boulangerie at the Bench Towers when I met up with a friend for a quick breakfast.  The smell of freshly baked breads was devine. There was wide range of bread and pastries to choose from. The ambiance was really nice too.

Saute de poulet aux champignons
Roasted chicken chunks in a creamy sauteed mushroom sauce. Served with generous slices of PAUL's country bread to dip in!
Super loved this. So Tasty I could eat this with another bread basket please! :)

A must try when you get to visit a Paul Boulangerie store!!! Super worth it for the price and calories.. hihi :) 


I love the place I wish they would open a bit earlier though.. but I will definitely visit again.

The B&P Just Like Home Experience

           I was going to a brunch meeting with my Business Partner and she asked where I would like to eat, since Mandaluyong is not my turf I asked her for options, she suggested a desserts place and B&P, I opted for B&P because I wanted a real meal and I'm glad I made the right choice.

           B&P's ambiance is bright and has that cozy atmosphere and the interiors spells HAPPINESS. B&P Just like home is a casual dining restaurant that offers a modern take on well-loved breakfast specialties.

          There were too many delish looking food in the menu and I was so hungry I opted for one of my comfort food, Chicken and French Toast <3 - BNP Chick to Chick, Just by looking at the plating it'll make you drool. The Chicken here is sooooooooo good its now part of my Top 10 Fried Chicken List. The French Toast was also a delight. The texture is just about the perfect texture for a French Toast for me, not to soggy and not dry --- Perfect!

            My Business Partner ordered the French Pork Chop which was also very good, the combination of the greens and the pork chop complemented the dish well.

           When I asked for another serving of gravy it took a while because they had to make it from scratch. The wait was nothing compared to what was about to embrace my fried chicken. This is heaven. Plus I must say the Chef who prepared our food sure does know how to make food pretty! Since it was an open kitchen I could see her do her thing in there, she really looks passionate and she makes sure that everything that comes out her kitchen are not only highly pleasant to the taste but also a work of art.  Kudos Chef! ^_^

BnP Chick to Chick
Half chicken simmered in herbs and spices, coated in out buttermilk batter then deep fried to perfection. Served with our homemade french toast and peppered gravy and sour cream dip.

French Pork Chop
12 oz. French Pork Chop stuffed with mushroom and cheese. Served with house gravy, steak fried rice and tossed salad greens.
