Antipolo is a city in the in the province of Rizal, Philippines located about 25 kilometres east of Manila. Its higher elevation than that of Metro Manila affords it a scenic view of the metropolis, especially at night.

Click on the links for the links for the details of the trip :)

Day 1
1. Luljetta Hanging Gardens
2. Loreland Farm Resort

Day 2
3. Jardin De Miramar: Casa Santa

The Parmigiano Italian Kitchen Experience

So happy to have chanced upon this little Italian restaurant in Newport Mall, the Parmigiano Italian Kitchen. From the bread basket to the last item that we ordered, they were all exceptionally good.

A must try would be the Porchetta which is a classic Italian pork roast roulade served with mashed potato and a little side salad. Oh and don't forget to ask for extra gravy its so yummy with the mashed potato. If that's not enough to satisfy your Pinoy tummy go for that extra rice too! :)

Bread Basket
with Salsa and Olive oil and Balsamic Vinegar
The bread basket accompanied by salsa and olive oil with balsamic vinegar was served while we waited for the appetizer, I loved how the salsa complemented the warm toasted bread.

Caprese
Fresh mozzarella slices, basil leaves and tomato slices drizzled with olive oil
I loved how this simple salad could bring so much joy in my palate. I loved how they used fresh ingredients for this starter. It has been said that Caprese was made to resemble the colors of the Italian flag: red, white, and green.

Wagyu Carpaccio
Extra thin sliced Wagyu beef drizzled with balsamic reduction
served with arugula and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano cheese

I've always had this iffy feeling about eating raw beef, I am fine with raw fresh fish but beef? But that was until I had my first taste, It wasn't that bad, in fact i liked it. Carpaccio is an Italian appetizer which is considered as a rare treat. ^_^

"Order, You Must." That's me channeling my inner Yoda ^_^.

Carbonara
A classic favorite of al dente pasta with crisp pancetta, egg, cheese, and cream mixture

Bismark
Pizza with egg! A unique mix of ingredients with tomatoes, mozzarella, and prosciutto

With friends after our year end party at Parmigiano Italian Kitchen ^_^

Really good food, good ambiance, and good service and a couple of good friends, It was a lovely dinner indeed.
