Breakfast at Kuppa

The problem with working in the night shift is when you get off work there are limited food options since not all restaurant open early. You can always opt for the fastfood but sometimes, there would be days where you would just like to sit down, chill, eat real food and catch up with friends. Strolling at BGC looking for a breakfast place we haven’t tried yet, we found Kuppa Roastery & Café, They open at 7:00 am. Yey!

Kuppa Roastery & Café has a wide range of food offerings from Breakfast, Italian, Pizza, Sandwiches and Mains. There’s plenty of Drinks to choose from hot or cold Coffee , Tea, Fruity Drinks and Alcoholic Beverages.

The Farmacy Experience

Entering Farmacy I felt a bit nostalgic, though I haven't really been to an old school Soda Pop Shop, but still, it felt like meeting up with the good ol' gang of Archie. It felt like going to Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe. Growing up reading Archie Comics, I'm pretty sure you know what I mean ;)

That was my idea of an Ice Cream and Soda Fountain Shop. Little did I know that back in the days a typical American drug store had a Soda Fountain. Sweet!

First few sips were not really that good, I could taste the very strong bitter taste of Guinness, you have to let the Ice Cream melt and mix well with the Guinness dry stout to have a  better tasting concoction. I liked it! <3 A Must Try!!!

The Todd English Food Hall Experience

Finally got to try Todd English Food Hall at SM Aura with my girlfriends for a post Christmas - New Year's Dinner. Time to indulge on good food and great company. It was a very pleasant gastronomical experience.

Todd English Food Hall is not a buffet style restaurant nor your regular food court fare. At first when I heard about the restaurant, I thought they were serving buffet style food.. but nope they don't. The restaurant houses 9 specialty food stations and you can order from each of the station and they make it fresh on the spot. Sounds good right? The Todd English Food Hall is a European-inspired specialty food hall — offers the finest fresh, prepared, and gourmet food.

'Came to the place without any reservation because we called in late and they were not taking any reservations that time, We were on the waiting list and I didn't mind sitting at the bar anymore because the resto' was jam packed on a Wednesday night. We finally got seated at the Salad & Charcutterie Station. We would've loved a dining table but that means waiting longer and man was I hungry already.

We finally placed our orders and we were anticipating delays because the
1) The resto' was full and really busy that time
2) Food were freshly made and on the spot.. so usually I expect 10-15 minutes delay.

But to our surprise food came in less than 15 mins. It was not in its proper sequence, like, Salad first then the Appetizer then...etc.. We got the Salad First which was just right then the Steak.. errmmm .. i will not complain though.. I'm really hungry ^_^ and the food was really good so I forgive you :)

Will definitely comeback to try some seafood and pasta and maybe another round of Steak N' Marrow + Seared Foie Gras :) Unfortunately we were too full to sample their desserts... I will definitely comeback for that too! :)

The El Cangrejo Crab, Seafood and Steak Bistro Experience

I was undecided as to where to go for dinner last night then a PM came from one of the restaurants that I've been wanting to try, I took it as a sign and besides I was craving for some crabs yesterday ^_^

By the way I just had to share, The El Cangrejo Crab, Seafood and Steak Bistro FB Admin or whoever manages their FB page is really nice and is prompt in answering inquiries, . Kudos and Thanks! ^_^

Love the quaint rustic vibe of the place. The servers we're very friendly, engaging and helpful from the minute you come in till you leave. Awesome service you guys! :) All our needs were attended and they were pro active with changing plates, filling up your glasses and checking if you need refills. Loved it! :)

There were mouthwatering selections on the menu but last night, I came for their Unlimited Crabs and Steaks. Yes, UNLIMITED....CRABS...CRABS... CRABS and STEAKS. I was ecstatic.

The Meal started with Pumpkin soup, It looked fancy and it was creamy but it had a hint of curry but It was OK.

I'm not a meat person so I didn't really care about the steak until I tried their steak. It was awesome! Cooked to my liking - Medium Well. I don't care about what people say about how steaks should be done but I like mine Medium Well so go stuff your face with your Medium Rare...I'll stuff mine with Medium Well. :P We thought of skipping the white rice but we already ordered but as soon as I got a taste of the lovely steak there's no way this white rice is leaving my table! It was absolutely delish .. and oh I just can't help myself from getting an extra serving of the demi glace.. I just had to :) I only got 2 plates of the steak because I was so concentrated with my crabs <3.  A plate would have 4 or 5 thin slices of steak.

Our Server asked us if we were ready to order crabs and I was like.. "Are you kidding me?! I'm ready for the migration of crabs!" ^___^ What I love about the crabs is that it tasted fresh, sweet and succulent. It had a hint of curry but not that strong at all so it still was OK, it complimented the crabs well. The Vinegar dip was so good too, just had to ask the server for red chilies! Perfect! The Unli Crabs and Steak is priced at php795 net, not including the dessert. Super worth it and is one of the best deals there is. :) 

Last but not the least, thanks for Google Maps! I was able to locate  El Cangrejo Crab, Seafood and Steak Bistro. I just love Google Maps than my Iphone Maps. It works way better.

I cant wait to get back for their Unlimited Oysters and Wine. ^___^
